AAA Dollars is a member loyalty program where making qualified purchases earns you AAA Dollars towards your renewal dues.
Q: Who is eligible for AAA Dollars?
All active AAA members residing in Florida, Georgia and Middle & Western Tennessee are eligible to earn AAA Dollars. All AAA Dollars earned will be credited to your member household for you to use at renewal.
Q: How do I sign up for the AAA Dollars program?
As an active AAA member, you already have access to the AAA Dollars program and will earn AAA Dollars when you use select services or purchase select products through AAA.com, your AAA branch or by calling our Member Call Center at 800-222-1134. Your AAA Dollars balance will be included with your membership statement and you can check your account anytime at AAA.com by clicking on 'My Account'.
Q: How do I know how many AAA Dollars I have?
A: Your AAA Dollars balance will be included with your membership statement. To check your AAA Dollars balance at anytime, visit AAA.com and click on ‘My Account’ or contact your local AAA branch or call our member call center at 800-222-1134.
Q: How does AAA know if I have made a purchase from a participating partner?
For online purchases, access AAA partners through the AAA.com Shopping Mall at AAA.com to receive credit for those purchases. For example: iTunes is a participating partner. If you access iTunes through AAA.com Shopping Mall you will earn AAA Dollars. You do not earn AAA Dollars when accessing a partner website directly from your browser without going through AAA.com's online mall. If you choose to visit your AAA branch or call our member call center, you will need to have your membership information.
Q: I made a purchase directly from a partner retail store instead of online through the AAA shopping mall. Can I still get AAA Dollars for this purchase?
No. The online retailers that AAA Dollars has partnered with on the AAA.com Shopping Mall apply to online purchases only (not to the retailers' respective store locations). You must enter the retailers' website through the AAA Dollars Shopping Mall at AAA.com. Unless it is stated on AAA.com that the retailers' store locations award AAA Dollars, any purchases made at stores will not qualify.
Q: How am I notified of the amount of AAA Dollars that I have earned?
When in a AAA branch office you will be notified if you have earned AAA Dollars when receiving your purchase receipt. When on AAA.com, you will be notified on the AAA Dollars earned when visiting “My Account”. Also, you will be notified of amount of AAA Dollars earned upon receipt of AAA Membership Renewal Statements.
Q: Is AAA Dollars the same as Show Your Card & Save?
Both AAA Dollars and Show Your Card & Save are AAA member loyalty programs. Show Your Card & Save offers instant discounts at the time of purchase from participating partners. AAA Dollars allows you to earn deferred AAA Dollars that go into your account and accumulate each time you purchase select products and services through AAA.
Q: Do participating AAA partners offer discounts or dollars for everything I buy from them?
A: No. Each participating AAA partner will offer AAA Dollars for select products and/or services. For details about participating partners, please visit AAA.com or contact your local branch or call our member call center at 800-222-1134.

Q: How do I earn AAA Dollars?
You will earn AAA Dollars when you use select AAA services or purchase select products through AAA, such as attraction tickets or luggage at AAA branch offices, online partner offerings through the AAA.com Shopping Mall, select storefront locations or even by referring a friend to join AAA. The amount of AAA Dollars you earn will vary depending on each specific offer.
Q: How long does it take for AAA Dollars to post to my account?
AAA Dollars will appear on your account immediately for all purchases directly from AAA. For purchases made with participating partners (including AAA.com Shopping Mall) AAA Dollars may take up to 30 days to post to your account.
Q: How can I spend AAA Dollars?
You do not have to do anything. We will apply your earned AAA Dollars to pay for your AAA membership renewal.
Q: Do AAA Dollars ever expire?
As long as you remain an active AAA member, your AAA Dollars will never expire.
Q: Is there a limit on the AAA Dollars I can earn?
There is no limit on the number of AAA Dollars you can earn. If you accumulate more dollars than your membership balance, or if you make a purchase within 45 days of your expiration date, your AAA Dollars will roll over and apply toward your next year's membership renewal.
Q: How can I earn AAA Dollars while shopping online?
To earn AAA Dollars while shopping online, go to AAA.com to access participating partners. Going through this site will ensure that the AAA Dollars you will earn with your purchases will be credited to your account.
Q: Why have AAA Dollars been deducted from my account?
AAA Dollars will automatically be applied to the cost of renewing your membership. If you return an item for which you earned AAA Dollars, your AAA Dollars credit will be reversed. If you refer a friend to join AAA, the referred member must be an active member at time of renewal in order to receive AAA Dollars.
Q: How are AAA Dollars calculated?
The number of AAA Dollars earned will vary depending on the offer for the product or service purchased.
Q: Do I need my AAA Membership Card to earn AAA Dollars?
Yes, you need your membership card in order to receive AAA Dollar rewards.
Q: Do I need a special code to take advantage of special offers for AAA Dollars?
No. Your membership card will ensure that your AAA Dollars earned will be credited to your account. Visit AAA.com or contact your local AAA branch or call our member call center at 800-222-1134 for details.
Q: What happens if I return something I purchased online through the AAA.com Shopping Mall?
When you return an item you purchased online through the AAA.com Shopping Mall, any AAA Dollars earned will be deducted from your account.
Q: Can I trade AAA Dollars for cash?
No. AAA Dollars works like cash to pay for renewing memberships but are not redeemable for cash.
Q: What happens if I have automatic renewal? Will it take my AAA Dollars into consideration?
We will first apply your earned AAA Dollars towards your membership renewal cost and we will charge your credit card for the remaining balance.
Q: My AAA Dollars balance is incorrect. What should I do?
First, consult the AAA Dollars Terms and Conditions. For purchases through the AAA.com Shopping Mall, please consider the following:
- I don’t remember linking to the retailer’s website directly from AAA.com Shopping Mall prior to making my purchase.
- The item(s) I purchased may be subject to retailer restrictions.
- The item(s) purchased have not shipped and/or been delivered to my home.
- I have received notice from the retailer of an out-of-stock cancellation of my order.
- The merchandise was returned to the retailer.
- It has been less than 30 days since I made the purchase.
- I used a coupon code or rewards program when making the purchase.
For purchases through AAA Branch Office, please consider the following:
- The item(s) purchased may be subject to certain restrictions.
- The merchandise was returned to the AAA Branch.

Q: Is AAA Dollars available in all States?
No. The geographic territories currently designated for participation in the AAA Dollars Program are Florida, Georgia and Middle & Western Tennessee. The rest of the States including Puerto Rico are specifically excluded from the AAA Dollars Program.
Q: If I move outside the AAA territory, are my AAA Dollars transferable?
No. They are not transferable and no longer valid outside the geographic territories currently designated for participation in the AAA Dollars Program, Florida, Georgia and Middle & Western Tennessee. Also, AAA Dollars have no cash value and cannot be redeemable for cash.
