Gator Pride Sweepstakes
This Gator Pride Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is offered by AAA, Inc. ("AAA") and IMG Communications, Inc. ("IMG", and each of AAA and IMG, a "Sponsor"). No purchase or obligation is necessary to enter or win.
1. No purchase necessary to enter or win
A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
Open only to legal residents of Florida. Void where prohibited by law. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter and to win. Employees and immediate families (parent, child, spouse, siblings and respective spouses) of Sponsor are not eligible to win.
3. To Enter
Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM EST on September 18, 2009. To register, (i) log on to www.AAA.com/Football and complete an official entry form and submit it electronically no later than 11:59:59 PM EST on December 3, 2009, (ii) visit one of the participating AAA branches (Gainesville, Ocala, Orange Park, Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine and Palm Coast) to complete an official entry form in person no later than 5:00 PM EST on December 3, 2009, (iii) visit AAA's Fan Fest booth during the University of Florida's home football game against the University of Tennessee on September 19, 2009 or against Florida State University on November 28, 2009 to complete an official entry form in person, or (iv) hand-print your name, address, daytime and nighttime phone numbers, fax numbers and email address on a 3x5 card and mail to Gator Pride Sweepstakes, 1515 North Westshore Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33607, provided that all mail entries must be postmarked by December 1, 2009 and received by December 3, 2009, at 11:59 P.M. In addition to filling out an official entry form, Sweepstakes entrants who also request insurance quotes from AAA for auto, home or a combined auto/home policy will receive three additional entries to win. AAA branch office hours and addresses can be found at AAA.com/Offices. All entries submitted after the aforementioned times and dates are ineligible, will be null and void and will not be entered into the Sweepstakes. Entrants are automatically entered into drawing for corresponding weekly prizes. Limit one entry per person or email address, except as expressly provided herein. No facsimiles allowed. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, stolen, mutilated, damaged, incomplete, illegible or misdirected entries or for malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer hardware or software, or any other technical problems related to website entries. Entries become property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Any attempt at entry except as above stated is void. AAA's computer will be the official clock of the Sweepstakes. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
4. Odds of Winning
The actual odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Odds of winning decrease as the number of entries increase. The number of entries is expected to increase on each successive day of the Sweepstakes and the odds of winning are expected to decrease accordingly. Entrants may not win more than one prize. Odds of wining are not exclusive to each entrant.
5. Winner Determination
Winners will be notified by telephone and email. One winner will be selected randomly during the Sweepstakes on each Friday before the following 2009 University of Florida Gator home football games played in Gainesville, the 2009 University of Florida versus University of Georgia football game played in Jacksonville and the 2009 SEC Championship game played in Atlanta, such games played on: 10/16/09, 10/30/09, 11/6/09, 11/20/09, 11/27/09 and 12/4/09. Winners will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or potential winner is not in compliance with these rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion and time permitting, an alternate winner selected.
One Urban Meyer autographed football (approximate value of $150.00) will be awarded for each of the six University of Florida football games referenced above. Federal, state, and local taxes and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of the prize not specified are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for all applicable laws pertaining to acceptance of the prize. Entrants may not win more than one prize.
7. Limitation of Liability
Sponsor, the University of Florida and University Athletic Association, its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents, attorneys and employees of the aforementioned entities (the "Releasees") are not responsible for printing or topographical errors in any contest-related materials; for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail or entries; or for transactions that are lost, misdirected, or fail to enter into the processing system; or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly; or are lost for any reason, including computer, telephonic, paper-transfer, or human error, or electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction, damage, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or any combination thereof. If, for any reason, this contest is not capable of running as planned, or infection by computer viruses, bugs, or tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, actions of entrants, technical failures, or any other causes corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to award the prize from all eligible, non-suspect entries validly received prior to the action requiring such modification or to terminate, modify or suspend the contest. Sponsor reserves the right to interpret these Sweepstakes rules. This contest is governed by the laws of the applicable states and venue shall be in the appropriate court of competent jurisdiction in Hillsborough County, Florida, for the resolution of all claims and disputes.
By participating, entrants agree to: a) the Official Rules and the decisions of the judging agency and Sponsor, which shall be final in all respects and b) release, discharge, and hold harmless the Releasees from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the Sweepstakes and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). Upon entering the Sweepstakes each participant agrees to grant, where legal, to the Sponsor and its designees use of their names and/ or likeness for future advertising and publicity purposes without compensation and, upon request, will provide consent to such use in writing.
